Advent in Maria Alm

The Christmas market in Maria Alm opens its gates from Friday to Sunday and on December 8^th. This picturesque, idyllic spot is characterised by Christmas aromas and fragrances from 4-8 pm. Cookies and mulled wine are constant companions while you marvel at traditional handicrafts or listen to alphorn tunes. Don’t miss the light installations and the Advent concerts in the pilgrimage church. Nativity scene exhibitions, quiet Advent paths and the live nativity scene complete the pre-Christmas setup in Maria Alm.
 

The summit of emotions in Advent

There’s also a lot of charm to the two other Hochkönig villages. Mühlbach’s Advent in the village combines lived Christmas festiveness with old traditions and customs. The smell of cinnamon and cookies is in the air. Dienten is renowned for its Advent on the mountain. Experience the time of stillness in an idyllic paradise of snow and lights around the famous St Wolfgang Church.
